What Do You Need?

I usually advocate for being super intentional about the time you spend doing anything. But then there are times where I find I am overtaken by my body just wanting to do nothing.

For the past two days I have been consumed with watching HGTV and videos on Youtube. Nothing in particular that I wanted to watch. I just was scrolling for no reason.


And, it’s important to note why. I found that I am just tired. After two weeks of online schooling and working full time (plus all the other things I do), I found that I am just tired. I don’t want to think, I don’t want to read, I don’t want to do anything but just lie down and do nothing.

After two days I recognize that I am in a funk and I may just need to go to bed and put down the phone/turn off the tv. All I am trying to point out is that these feelings are pointing to bigger things. Whenever you are doing something that is not in your normal routine or way of being, pay attention to what you may need.

Your body has wisdom. Listen!!
